Who can be a copier or a signal provider?  

You can be a copier if you are a beginner or don’t have time to follow the markets. Copy Trading allows you to learn from others’ successes and start trading quickly without needing a mass of research and trading experience, or even knowing a lot about the financial markets.  

You can be a signal provider if you are experienced at trading and want to earn extra money from copy trading. Excellent benefits are offered to signal providers. It’s easy to get started with only a minimum deposit of $100USD (or equivalent) needed. 

How much initial investment is required?  

The minimum amount for initial investment is only $100USD or equivalent. 

How do I set up my account to get started with Copy Trading?  

Setting up your copy trading with Zero Markets is simple:  

1. Contact our support team to express your interest in being a copier or signal provider
(by mentioning your MT4 account number)
2. Log in to the Copy Trading Portal (link will be provided by our support team)   
3. Go to the “Ratings” section    
4. Find the successful traders that you’d like to copy  
5. Click “Invest”
6. Create a new subscription 
7. You’ll now be duplicating their positions automatically in real-time and in direct proportion! 

How do I find good traders to copy?  

There is a lot of information under each trader’s profile for your reference when you try to find good traders to follow. For beginners, indicators like “Total Return” and “Total Profit” are good places to start. For more seasoned traders, they can view more detailed information inside the trader’s profile, including “Sharpe Ratio”, “Volatility Ratio” and more. All these indicators are important in measuring the trader’s investment performance. 

What are the costs during my copy trading processes or orders?  

The copier will be charged a Performance and/or Management Fee. The “offer” determines the fees paid by the copier for the provider’s service. Performance calculation is based on the trading result at the end of the trading interval. Management fees is paid either immediately upon copying or at the beginning of each interval. 

 What’s the timing for order executions in copy trading? 

When a signal provider that you are copying places a trade, that would sync to your MT4 account immediately, so you also enter that trade at the exact same time. 

Is Copy Trading risky?  

You can gain high profits from copy trading if find a successful trader to copy. However, there are inherent risks that exist, and even if past performance has been lucrative, there is no guarantee that you will always make money in future trades. 

Do I need prior trading experience to engage in copy trading?  

Copy trading generally requires less forethought or effort than trading on your own. You can start to copy straight away even if you are a beginner and do not have any trading experience. Or, if you prefer, you can take some time watching other investors before deciding to imitate what they do. 

Does Copy Trading work both in MT4?  

The copy trading service is currently only available on MetaTrader 4, one of our existing online trading platforms. However, it will be available on MetaTrader 5 in the future.
